School Field Trips

When you bring your kids to Frontier Theater, they'll have lots of fun, and at the same time, learn about Missouri Ozarks History!

Listed below are two examples of what to expect upon arrival when you bring your kids.

We try very hard to adjust our field trips according to age group.

Get acquainted with White Dove

1. Younger Grade School Kids:

10:00     White Dove's Indian Village
(Follow White Dove to her longhouse and learn how our Native Americans lived.)

10:40    Pioneer Barn
(Make a candle and learn about pioneer life with hands on participation.)

11:00    Zip Lines
(Your kids will ride the zips over and over again)

11:20    Lunch time
(We have have an excellent facility for your kids to enjoy their noon meal)

11:50     Hay Ride
(An adventure experience you will never forget!)

12:30    Old Fashioned Games
(Your kids will love our games.)

12:50    Mouse House
(This facility is a kid's paradise-see it for yourself and find out why)

1:10    Homestead Area
(Learn-how to chink and dob a log cabin and more)

1:30    Time to go home
(We never have time for everything)

Get acquainted with Mountain Man Les

2. Older Grade School Kids

10:00    White Dove's Indian Village
(Learn spear and hawk throwing-and much more!)

10:40    Mountain Man Les
(Fire building-arrowhead making-black powder guns, etc.)

11:00    Lunch time
(Head for the barn-it's time to eat.)

11:30    Flying Slide
(Our slide is 75 foot long and comes down at a 45 degree angle!)

11:50    Mining Camp
(Learn how to pan for Gold and get wet trying-this is fun!)

12:30    Hay Ride
(You can not imagine all we do!)

1:00      Civil War
(Feel your emotions soar as you and your kids battle the bushwackers)

1:30      Time to go home
